only bad thing about this album is basically everything except for the title track and for absent friends

Still Life bored me with terrible death metal riffs and lyrics that were much too literal. I much prefer Ghost Reveries. Fair Judgement is also a good track.

It's good but it's one of those albums that don't qualify anywhere near other Opeth stuff.

In in my opinion, this is probably the weakest Opeth album in their catalog. "It's a transitional period into where they were going next" kind of album to me. However, "A Fair Judgement" is one of the most kickass songs they have. The replay value also wasn't too high for me. The heavy songs could have been much better.

By your rating, I would think you were joking. Gay may be a bit extreme, maybe bi-curious though.

Out of all of Opeth's albums, this one has had the shortest lasting effect on me.

Good, but definetely not up to their best. Also the production is paper thin IMO.

Riff at the beginning of Master's Apprentices = one of the most brutal riffs ever. The title track is amazing as well, love the vocals and the outro is killer.

imo Watershed is their worst...

but MAYH simply slays for dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyys, one of their best for sure. its kinda like a more aggressive and compact Still Life, with some awesome concept about a ghost

if Opeth played MAYH in full live that would be beyond amazing. Deliverance is real good to though.

i'm content with them playing BWP live in its entirety. as long as they play When and Demon Of The Fall in the second set!

I would rather them play Karma over When.. Both slay but I always felt Karma was underratted.
