Great review. I like your extensive comparison of their other works. I feel like you really captured the sound and the mood of the album. I can't wait to hear what the second disk sounds like

No it's Weird Fishes/Arpeggi without a doubt.

^Yes.

Just got the second disc, and in my opinion it is clearly the superior to disc 1. 4 Minute Warning, Last Flowers, and Up on the Ladder are killer tunes, though they did murder Bangers and Mash. This Message Edited On 12.13.07

While there's some great stuff on this, I think this album is horrendously over-rated. Compared to the stuff on Kid A and OK Computer this stuff really isn't that amazing.

the standout track on this really is the silence at the end when the record stops

I read today that most of Radiohead's members don't even know how to read music, even Thom Yorke. He said it does him no good to read or look at it. Pretty cool if that's true

Got this album the other day. I was buying some coffee at Starbucks and I saw "In Rainbows" for sale. It seems to me like I forgot all about it!

Well I picked it up. My retail copy of the album didn't come with a second disc, but I was okay with it.

I listened to the album, and honestly I didn't think it was at all like I envisioned. Some of the songs were boring IMO and were not interesting. I really dug the first song. It was awesome. But some songs just seemed bland for Radiohead's standards. Yes, it is a good album, but not great.

Perhaps this release needs to grow on me.

I bought this album the other day. I haven't really absorbed it all yet, but so far I really enjoy it, especially 15 Steps and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi.

I need the second disc though.

Sorry too say, theres alot of radiohead fans, but these guys are overrated, i bought the album, i seriously didnt think it was that good at all, hell i thought atreyu's album was better. These guys didnt not impress me with the incredibly weak vocals and droning instrumentals. these guys put me to sleep
