the very fact that you say this album is more epic and entrancing than blackwater park, the gallery, blood fire war death, and storm of the lights bane means I need this now because I consider every single one of those albums to be legendary classics. Especially blackwater park.

just finished this like, 2 minutes ago. It is incredible, as you say, but I believe there are a few low points that drag it down. Mainly the songs enigma and Shaman.



Everything else is absolutely incredible. Very somber, melodic, uplifting beautiful music. If it were not for those 2 songs, this would be a classic in my eyes.



Of course that was one listen. I may bump it if those 2 songs grow on me or if I discover something so breathtakingly amazing in the other 8 songs that I must give it a 5.



on a side note, I love the singers growl and wish he used it more during the album.

Enigma is great, but Shaman is probably my least favorite on the album. Still good though.

I dunno. I did not like the acoustic work all through enigma. I thought the album lost power because of it. The first 6 songs were masterful though. Especially towards and against which is my favorite song on the album.

I love every song, the only weak point may be the opening track, it never really stuck but I still like it.

The only weak point for me is 'Her Alone', I really cant' stand the chorus when he goes 'HEEERH AAAALOOOONE' it sounds so stupid.
