Well, if you wanna be an ass, then sure there are better ones. But those bands really are kinda the best. Their discographies as a whole are better than some more obscure band's one excellent album. Such as The Sound or Sad Lovers and Giants.

ive heard a couple songs from awake and theyre nothing special
I bet one of them was Lie, the most meh track. you need to get on the whole album. i personally prefer it to I&W, LaBrie's vocals are actually pretty decent on it.

This album grew on me a lot, much better than I thought.
First 4 tracks are all great, but Pace Is the Trick is my favorite on the album, and probably one of Interpol's best songs(top 15 anyway) imo.
