This is a pretty great album (the vocal performances in the verses of "Domination" are worth a few points on their own), but the album doesn't consistently amaze me.

I bought the album randomly one day based on the cover art, I was in a music experimenting mood. Since then this is one of my favorite albums to listen to on road trips or have blasting down my dorms hallway.

I heard just about all of Symphony X's albums and I enjoy this one the most mainly because they stepped out of the slow ballad stuff and started playing some metal. Big ups to Mr. Romeo for showcasing his abilities in a more technical way. This is probabyly the only power metal band I can stand and this probably the only power metal cd I can stand.
