This should have classic status, the rating average should've been at least 4.4, based on both music and lyrics.

Yeah, I definitely used to underrate this one quite a lot. Not sure why, I just never gave it a chance for the longest time... really glad I got fully onboard with it, because it's in my top 3 of their discog now

Had no clue Pat O' Brien played with these dudes. More motivation to dive in!

just on this album but you can hear it clear as day. Jeff was never an ego driven guitarist because you can hear his co-musicians sound on all of the records they were a part of

O' Brien is just the rhythm pillar shredders like Loomis need, kind of sold himself short with Cannibal Corpse imho.

Which is funny because rob Barrett says in the centuries of torment documentary that pat was one of the most talented shredders he’s ever seen and he struggled constantly to play the riffs pat wrote.

Well, Loomis certainly didn't struggle playing with O' Brien.

O' Brien is currently with Exhorder, I wonder if he could join Nevermore right now…

Been jamming a lot of Nevermore lately, and I decided to do a quick vocal sample of The Seven Tongues of God. Seriously, if I weren't tied down by the military, I totally would've auditioned to be their new singer

I arrived at the party late for this band, wow.

DHIADW is my favourite but they pretty much all riff, Dane's vocals are so unique as well, big RIP.

Goes without saying but Loomis is one the best to ever do it, riff god.
