Bad review, bad comments. This is a landmark album of the 90s so it is classic as F***k. There is a lot of diversity in the tracks. They created a genre with this album and influenced the sound of a million other bands. Phils voice never ever resembled Hetfield's one. As for the lyrics if there is something wrong with them is that many songs (white men black men...there is no standard any more...pointed down by lesser man) have underlying nazi shit messages. Go ahead and read them. Nu metal? what are you talking about? VERY VERY AVERAGE REVIEW

Phil Anselmo sounds nothing like James Hetfield. He makes James sound like a bitch. His screams, yells and roars are much more convincing. It's one of the many reasons i prefer Pantera to Metallica.

The rationale for why the lyrics to this album are bad is horrendous. This was Anselmo's most focused set before he drifted too far into drug use after this album. He's got a sharp political awareness.

This album is just full of extreme aggression and adrenaline. Where it seems they started smoking a lot of weed during Far Beyond Driven. In this album, I feel like they let the whiskey flow and the hatred rise. You want to hear with real emotion, the tracks "This Love" and "Mouth For War" are the songs to listen to.

Probably the most aggressive album ever put forth, not the most brutal or most awesome, but most aggressive for sure.

Man, I really go without hearing "Walk" again to be honest. I know it is an anthem, but to me, it is one of their weakest songs. "Walk on home, boy!"

such a good album. probably my favorite album overall from them. No good(attack the radical) is my favorite song from them. So heavy with an amazing chorus.
