The track called "House of Leaves" on my copy of this is just a demo of The Great Golden baby, is there supposed to be a different one?

It's different than the hidden track at the end of Meet Me in Montauk? Cause if that is House of Leaves then you're right, it is.

I'm sorry but I couldn't agree less with the review. I think it's a great album, and definitely one of my favorite over all genres. Also, I can't really see how they "lift" anything from "de-loused...".

And a Circa Survive thread causes yet another empty account, with a 5 for Juturna and 1 butthurt comment about how it's the best thing ever.

I think that this review totally blows... On paper circa survive might sound like mars volta, but the mood is so nothing like it...

It took me like 100 listens to get into this album, but it is one of my all time favorites.

Admidded I'm a AG fan boy, but the instrumets especially the drums are really great on this one.

To me i's more like a wiered blend of dredg and radiohead.

LOL @ sniper01.
I just read through all of these comments, and they were very very entertaining.
This album is very homogeneous... It's hard to distinguish one song from another. But what's on it is cool stuff, in my opinion. I enjoy the overall feel of it, but I don't adore it.
Now, Blue Sky Noise is a definite step up from this stuff.

I think most people who think this is homogeneous haven't listened enough. It has a specific atmosphere throughout but I think the songs are actually extremely varied. It's easy to just group them all together as one because they all have a similar atmosphere, but once you get used to that there's a lot to love here. It's kind of how I was with El Cielo for awhile, thought it all sounded the same because of that atmosphere.

Then again you could just not like this, but I love it so idk.

Also sniper, house of leaves is indeed the track at the end of meet me in montauk
