I found a reason has been on repeat the past couple days. Such a sweet and tender track. It's so comforting. I'm convinced VU has some of the best slow songs ever.

I might hate this album upon first listen wtf. I mean Sweet Jane is great, but I already knew that one dammit. Who Loves the Sun is cute and original as well
Cool It Down and Train Round the Bend are especially bad and Lonesome Cowboy Bill sounds like they gave up on being The Velvet Underground
I'm mad, their first 3 are so good

I don't get it really,
What Goes On and Beginning to See the Light proved they could write commercial rock and be amazing, i was kinda expecting more of that style for this one

The primary appeal of Velvet Underground was how uncommercial they were tbqh
Even when they were "commercial" it was still so off the reservation that nobody wanted to listen to it.
