I cannot judge this album on a whole, as I have only heard "Dogs Can Grow Beards All Over", which is a decent song. The vocalist does have a fairly substantial range, going from guttural growls to some pretty high screams. I'm not sure if he does the cleans also, but the clean singer has a similar voice to Aaron Gillespie (good and bad). The instruments are pretty good, but fairly par for the course. My rating based off of this song is a 3-3.5/5



P.S. The cover of "Still Fly" is a guilty pleasure of mine, better than Atreyu's cover of "Epic"...This Message Edited On 04.01.09

It's been a long time since I've listened to this album. Can't say I was very impressed. I also bought this when I was pretty new to the Metal scene, so I had no idea that these guys sucked so bad. I later discovered Opeth and Nevermore and abandoned these guys. Like I said, pretty rotten album, but definitely not the worst I've ever heard.

It's sad to read how many people don't like these guys, I love them and they're great live. Their lyrics are also meaningful it you sit down and really try to put things together... But this is just my opinion, and I'm sure you have yours sooo... Well you know the saying, "We'll just have to agree to disagree."

Poor drumming? The reason the band is big is because of Mike's vocals and Daniel's drumming ability. Just because he doesn't play any "sick riffage" doesn't mean he sucks.
