Why is this praised so much? Fathomless Mastery obliterates everything on this.

The Wizard, I would not have agreed with you when the Fathomless Mastery first came out, but now I am agreeing with you one hundred percent. I do miss the presence of Dan Swano, but the album still slays. However, I still think this record is top notch containing the two badass producers of metal: Dan Swano and Peter Tatgren. I still praise this one.

this has peter on vocals so its immediately their best full-length release

Breeding Death EP is the best thing they've released though

Peter is shit in everything he does. Even his production with albums is just too polished.

I don't Wizard. I do love Hypocrisy. However, the last album didn't grab like past Hypocrisy albums. His production on All Shall Fall was too polished, which I liked a lot.

Really? Sounded far too squeaky clean for my elitist ears hahahaha. I guess I shouldn't be too harsh, he does an average job at the melo-death so I can't fault him for that.

Well, at least to my ears, All Shall Fall was not as polished Damned in Black and Sons of Northern Darkness...the feel was a little colder. However, to SOME elitists, it could mean not grim enough.

Hahahahaha they haven't been grim since their debut Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism. Even that's a stretch.

And I was kidding about the elitism. I'm so far from elite.

And I bumped this today because there are some standout moments on the album. Not worth a 4.5 by any means though. Too watered down for my tastes.

"Brandes had insisted that Meiwes attempt to bite his penis off. This did not work, though Meiwes was able to burst both of Brandes' testicles by biting them."
