I just wanted to take this opportunity to say The Stars (are out tonight) is one of the best songs Bowie has ever made

Hadn't listened to the t/t in a long time. It's still as perfect as I remember it

Yeah, it's one of the best.

Viewing all the vids and comments on the internet has hit hard. Presley, Lennon, Dylan, Bowie and then the legends follow. I can't even add Cobain to the list of top tier. Them 4 were absolute world changers for rock n roll, opinion, society, and everything else.

Anybody have this on CD? I feel like the mastering or something makes it sound crap which tends to stop me from enjoying this album.

WhiteNoise its always sounded a bit crappy to me but I think that's just the way it was intended

Why all the fuss about Moss Garden smh

The last three songs on 'Low' absolutely slay the last three on this to pieces, if you can't hear that then I can't help you all :D

David- "You fancy watching a film tonight?"

Iman- "Yeah why not, what did you have in mind?"

David- "I was thinking Beauty and the Beast"

Iman- "I've seen it too many times, how about The Lion King instead?"

David- "YOU CAN'T SAY NO TO THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!"

whitenoise there are a few different cd versions, apparently the 1999 remasters of the bowie catalog are quite unpopular with the stuck up audiophile crowd over at places like steve hoffman forums

i occasionally check to see which versions to get but don't stay too long or you just listen to sound quality and not MUSIC and all the joy is gone from the world
