I wouldn't call this album full of angst in the least bit. It deals with powerful themes and internal struggle, not the girl next door, such as in "Your Favorite Weapon." This was much less of an album review than you trying to boast your knowledge of the group. You loosely made comparisons between "The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me," and the previous two. If you went into more depth it would have been worthwhile. Your poor syntax and grammar also does not help the lack of direction in this review.

And the poppycock about "Not The Sun" being built on a failed hook... the ending more than makes up for it

Deja is terrible, where as this is for the most part quite good. The less said about Your Favorite Weapon the better.

I wouldn't say Deja was terrible, but I really dislike Your Favourite Weapon.

There are much worse albums than Deja Entendu but it's still pretty bad.

yeah i had this as a 4.5 as a while but idk if can see how people give this a 5.

i can't really put my finger on it but there's something lyrically about this that is kind of immature or juvenile, but maybe this is me just being bitter, idk!
