Is this looked back on fondly now? Or does everybody here still hate it.

the ratings seem to imply it sucks

but there is a lot love for this era and scene going around at the moment and bands that everyone said sucked in the past are now getting aped so hey ho

my god, remember when you all you needed was 4 friends with some fringes and bad core and you could get a record deal and a few music videos

I've definitely seen some nostalgia for this album lately. At least a few songs. I never got too into this album, but did think their last album had some good bangers.

I liked Daniel, Where’s the Boat and that’s all I remember.

Fashion your seatbelt is the only core song from this era that’s held up for me

the guitar tone is so standard for the time but absolute perfection on fashion your seatbelt. literally whining in the outro with the guitar

man some of these mid 2000s scenecore bands were way more raw and violent than people give them credit for. like so many parts of this album is literally just skramz + metallic breakdowns + some clean singing. it goes hard af.

I think eventually people will look back on this era with the same fondness as 90s screamo bands. A lot of it is aging surprisingly well.
