"I don't think you can handle them making a subpar song Sowing"

On that dreadful day, my interest in music will die and I'll just blend into the shadows, never to be heard from again.

But more seriously, yeah I would never judge a song by a 30 second clip and then would never judge an album by one song. Especially not Brand New. Even Daisy was disappointing the first 2-3 times I heard it.

hey dude no biggie i just happened to be on facebook when stereogum posted this up

anyway song is cool but coulda been longer for sure; that's probably it's only real problem as a song on its own. in the context of the album, however, it could work out to be an advantage.

If the worst thing about a song, is that it's not long enough. It's a pretty damn good song. (Which it is)

It reminds me of something that would be on Your Favorite Weapon if Brand New wrote that album in 2015

Not a pop punk song, really.

If the worst thing about a song, is that it's not long enough. It's a pretty damn good song.

It's a pretty great song but length is a major detraction here. Coulda gone to a lot of different places after the second chorus but instead, it just ends. In other words, it's not very fleshed out, but I'm sure that its placement on the album will give purpose to this trait.

btw what's going with the band's website? all i see is the old site when i go there.

To echo what everyone else has said, the song is too short for my liking.

Yeah, Daisy was a huge grower for me, took me almost a year to get into. Now it's a 4.5 for me. So I'm gonna hold off judgment, however I really do enjoy the new track.

They're great songwriters so the new album will be probably be good, but I doubt it'll live up to their previous two. They said that they don't want to depress people with their music any more, and with their behavior these past few years, they just seem to want to fuck around and do whatever they want.

It'd be interesting if they keep changing genres every one or two albums like they've been doing, déjà entendu and daisy did each feel like endgames of sorts. People should expect by now that Brand New don't make the same album twice
