No doubt the 70s was extravagant as hell space dude but as a result punk stripped it all back and cemented itself in history as the goto for 'angry kids' and holds its own as a starting place of it all.
I'm talking Joe Strummer throwing bottles at coppers at the Notting Hill riots and writing tunes about injustice.......only matched since by bowling for soup.
