tbh Garden Route is really the only song where I don’t really care if they play it. If they do, fine, I’ll grab a beer, if they don’t good.
I could see the problem being that they don’t really have a ton of shorter tracks that could replace it and keep set times. Most anything worth a shit off Sunbather, New Bermuda, Roads to Judah, and OCHL is too long aside from interludes and I have literally zero desire to see anything off Infinte Granite.

Converge is the last of the holdouts for me, Greyhaven might pull something together that can topple this, that last EP of theirs was fire but I don’t think that new single was quite aoty material… I’m sure there’s one or two more records I’m not thinking of but yeah at this point it’s just Converge for me.
edit: forgot about Loathe. If you had asked me at the beginning of the year about a Loathe 2025 album potentially being my aoty I’d laugh in your face but that new single is straight up their best song. Really looking forward to hearing more from them. So Loathe and Converge. Really was hoping Gorguts would have something this year too :/
