I love how nobody really acknowledges the Cannibal Corpse bashing anymore, because it's just so ridiculous. First it was like "I used to like CC, but now I listen to more interesting dm bands, like Ulcerate who really innovate, so all in all I'm better than all of you" and then when someone poked him a little, 100 mph into full on CC bashing. Dude when you're in a hole and you can't for the life of you figure out if it's day or night, stop digging. It's like watching a little kid throw a tantrum. Who becomes a member of a site just to be a total douche nozzle?

Ugh I would NEVER listen to a band like Cannibal Corpse. I happen to only only enjoy death metal that fits that 'thinking man's metal' tag. I don't remember if it was a guy from Pelican or other Post-Metal band who said it but that tag suits a lot of metal acts because of their changing, slow-mid paced tempo combined with intricate melodies and complex songwritings. I definitely lean towads that kind of pensive state inducing metal.

Ulcerate is no different than cannibal corpse or bolt thrower. They do the same shit basically every album just slightly different. Is it more intricate/technical/progressive sure but it's still them making the same album basically everytime. I'm not trying to hear anyone criticize bands for being repetitive when they jam ulcerate
