These guys are on the cutting edge of metal rn for sure. Paying the DsO and Gorguts stuff forward while both groups are leaving a void. Bumping shoulders with Ulcerate rn and idk what other bands are even doing that.

i think you could argue AB are just as unique. i feel like stylistically ad naus share more in common with their peers in dissotech and classical than AB do with their peers. but the density of ad naus' music is fucking ridiculous.
ad naus prob the only band in metal rn who i couldn't posit a single guess how they could top themselves in a future release
