Not even in the same ballpark. Stevenson has way more depth: lyrically, vocally, musicianship, and just overall talent. And this is from a Bridgers fan. I saw her on the Stranger tour in Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
Stevenson is on par with gods like Elliott Smith, Emmylou Harris, Jeff Buckley, and Patti Smith.

Ok, so far Laura Stevenson sounds like a full-blown female-version of Jeff Buckley, both vocally and musically, which is a very good thing. But I think comparing her to Phoebe is pretty apples to oranges, at least the limited music I've heard from both so far. I know Phoebe is also influenced by Jeff, but if musically Laura sounds like a female Jeff Buckley, I think Phoebe sounds like a female Sufjan Stevens.
