My favourite song is a 6-way tie between Flume, Wolves, Stacks, wash., 666 and Sh'Diah

I never understood the hate for Beth/Rest. It sounds out of place I guess but who cares lol

Definitely respectable choices, my top 5 would probably be

Creeks
Perth
Wolves
Creature Fear
Apts

Creature Fear was my introduction to Bon Iver and I still hold it in high regard. Perth is fantastic too, that's the song name I couldn't remember. Def top 3 on the st

Those harmonies right at the end of the first line in Perth send that song into the stratosphere no matter how many times I listen to it

Man, such a shame he went this route after his amazing first two albums.

Well, this isn't as bad as I thought. I can see myself liking this eventually.

Love the gurgling bass of the second song. It's so satisfying.

i,i is less consistent but still very in-line with this style and I think it has a few of his best. It's crazy how different this is from For Emma but I think they're both equally gripping

This or the self titled would be my personal favorite. I'm slightly more inclined towards 22, A Million because I got so much shit for giving this a 5 when it came out -- and because I knew everyone else was wrong, it just brought me even closer to the music.

the self-titled album is so ridiculously overrated with the exceptions of Perth, Holocene, Towers, and Calgary

I thought you were going to go on to list every song on the album and I was about to be so proud of you

I do agree the self-titled is rather uneven track-by-track but the overall sound is so good it's probably still my favorite
