Kind of hate that I like this so much cause from an outsider's perspective, it looks like people are rating it high cause he died and I don't wanna be included in that.

It's a great record, but I do feel people tend to ignore that he had some real quality records even prior to his comeback (although the ones I am thinking of - Outside and Heathen, were stuck in between a sea of so-so albums and/or interesting experiments). People who swear by this record ought to give Outside a proper chance as that one is definitely something people would enjoy if they liked this that much.
