People at college age are still babies really. Especially socially, they will jump about like no-one's business. It's nothing to do with the person you are. You could be amazing and if they just decided one day you weren't for them for any silly reason a whole load of people turn on you. Happened to me for zero reason.
You have to cut your losses and go join some random clubs and societies and get a new start. The earlier you do it the better, man. It's not your fault, but it makes it worse if you don't just ditch em asap
