"Life is such a thrilling song. The middle-ish part of this album gets kinda weak, I'm noticing, after listening through it again now."

This album is so amateurish and cliche that I'd definetly hate this if I wouldn't love this so much

Eh this is decent. I'd much rather listen to SYL tbh though.

Damn that's rough a 3 for this masterpiece. Other then City, Syl gets a bit boring after a while. This never does.

Imo City has only like two good songs. I never really got SYL. The Devin stuff I pretty much dig as much as anyone else, though.

This isn't bad at all. Just not anything amazing either.

Just my opinion. :]

For me all of SYL is jam-able, albeit some times in only certain contexts (City and Alien can be oppressive at times, despite being two of his best records).

I liked the first 2 SYL's the most lol. Perhaps I should revisit them.

You should. HAARHT is as goofy as it ever was and City is still punishing in a way few metal records can really achieve.

This album's production is as 90s as it gets and I love every moment of it.

The only Devy album I would actively choose not to listen to is Ziltoid and that last double album he made. I really didnt dig it. Epicloud wasnt that great either. Hope he gets back to Casualties soon.

On another note, he's been playing 'Night' live recently along with a bunch of other old stuff. Wish I coulda seen it :[

Yeah, lucky mofukkas getting to see "Night".

I love pretty much everything. I love The Hummer and Devlabs. I might just review one of those in the future.

For Devy fans who were unaware and want to feel left out too, he played Funeral, Bastard AND The Death of Music, in that order, to close his big Royal Albert Hall show "by popular request." It must have been the fucking best moment in live music ever
