It could be that I know a lot of straightedge people in and out of the "edge community" and I just feel saying "I don't drink" or "I don't smoke" is way less douchey than saying you're edge

I just mean a lot of people who label themselves edge have superiority complexes, condemn anyone with different lifestyle choices, and many are just terrible people in general. Because of that, the way I view the label of "straightedge" is in a negative light. I just don't think it's a big deal if you don't drink, smoke, eat meat, or have premarital sex
