Supercollider was okay. I don't know. I feel like it was the same thing for most of the 7 minutes.

I think Supercolllider was sweet for background music, because like you said it doesn't change a lot. I thought it was still sweet though

Kinda want to write a review for this, but there's already like 50 of them. I wish the shitty ones with low approval ratings could be deleted....

go for it. at least 90% of those were made in a week's span so it'd be nice to get some later perspective on the matter

Well, I'm going for it...should be up in the next couple of days or so. I must say, it's really hard not to talk about them without sounding like a hyperbolic fanboy. Maybe I should review some music I dislike for some perspective...haha

I find it strange that this has so many reviews yet none of them are close to yours at all.

If I told you Thom Yorke was a schizophrenic, would you believe me?

I feel like Radiohead started with a really big sound, and have just gotten smaller and smaller with each release. KoL's is so aimless and understated, I think their next album will be Johnny hitting random quiet electronics and Thom mumbling more quietly and incoherently than usual.

I'm not a big fan of their new sound.

I disagree.. the past 3 albums before this one were all killer. Hail to the Thief and In Rainbows are as about as good as it gets, it's mostly just this album. I know what you mean though about the lack of anything to grab onto that you described in your soundoff.

the sound may be 'smaller' as you described, but they've just evolved into a smoother and minimalistic style. a song like 'separator' is much more accessible and is a play on what's happening to music today than anything they put out between kid a and hail to the thief. there's less urgency and there's less angst than their once was and as a result they simply speak their mind rather than yell it. this album is still freaking phenomenal though

it's definitely more cohesive and less raw than httt. but i could see it being described as better or worse depending on the person you're talking to
