the overly treblelly production takes some getting used to




yep, that's the main issue with Alligator imo, the production is so damn thin/tinny

I think All the Wine is a sarcastic lament about alcoholics feeling invincible, when in all actuality they are fragile, as Beringer knows. Not that far off from the morose theme in Jesus

ehhh I don't find it to be sarcastic, in fact it seems like even though it hints about the fragility, it sounds like the narrator really feels empowered and believes in his alcohol consumption
