John was pretty trv kvult so I'm sure he hated how clean this is. It's hard to see the nightfall and be called to like a river of shadows with such clear production.

From the guitar sound at the beginning, you're just helpless in getting totally drawn in. Limbs is amazing!

When I first listened to this, I wasn't even intending to listen to the whole thing, just sample the first track. Limbs drew me in and I ended up listening to the whole thing. Fantastic opener.

One of my favorite songs ever for sure, followed by another contender.
Also if you haven't already I highly recommend you check out Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta II. I'm recommending it to every man and his dog right now because I feel its really underappreciated. Its more pure bm and complex than agalloch but just as beautiful, youll probably dig it if you dig this.
