euuugh I'll give this a listen another day
i can appreciate musically that they're obviously great musicians and are good at playing different styles
but if the album is ment to be one giant 65 minute song it really isn't as great as i was told
Too many things (guitar riffs, which its packed the F*** out with) sound the same i find and the vocals ruin some of the good instrumental parts
i enjoyed some bits of it but i really should give it another listen

the funny thing about that song is that it actually has a chorus, and it repeats like an average song would. kind of reminds me of Swim to the Moon, which, despite being 17 minutes long, also has a repeating chorus.

well not necessarily choruses/verses/bridges but some kind of form to it is good. especially when dealing with that this music's comprised of. some music is great if it feels formless. this just sounds messy and boring to me. thats why i like stuff like Informal Gluttony, The Primer, ehh what else, oh yeah Mordecai, Aspirations
etc
