I mean MCR doesn't really have any two albums that sound totally similar so there really isn't going to be a "correct" ranking for these guys

Danger Days before Three Cheers you are insane

honestly 3C is the only one that's genuinely good in any way rather than just being good nostalgically. their best songwriting by miles

I have no nostalgia for these guys cos I was really late on the bandwagon so

I find Three Cheers to be a more commercial and less passionate version of Bullets. It also sounds painfully generic what with the pop punk craze surrounding its release

and yet nostalgia is literally the single and only moderately acceptable excuse to rate any of their albums higher than a 1

Extremely well done alt rock that balances Queen worship with the rawer songwriting from Bullets with some dumb fun thrown into the mix. Also has some of the best hooks in MCR's discog and has a lot of legitimately awesome tunes (t/t, Dead!, Disenchanted, Famous Last Words). Also the melodrama makes the occasional angst ironically enjoyable

Edit: "thats even worse than 5'ing a blink-182 album without listening to them every single day in grade 6" Tbf Blink has always been a shit band and always will be

i agree with that sentiment but i dont think it makes it a 'classic' in the slightest.

Only songs on this I would call legit good are Mama and FLW, rest is just silly fun tbh

Three Cheers on the other hand is straight up banger after banger

three cheers is alright, but im an absolute sucker for records that can own that 'over-the-top' style and damn this record is relentless with it. theyre the only two remotely decent record's in this bands discog.
