"for what reason? i think dude ranch is the best example of their style"

regardless of what their publically-accepted "style" was, this is their strongest album

they kept the exuberance and sheer joy of making music from the earlier records while also expanding their sonic palette and writing songs that were more evocative but still engaging and all that

not bad for a band mostly known for running around naked & making incest jokes

Hoppus: "Guys, I've got the *perfect* producer for our new album. The dude who did Ashlee Simpson's Autobioraphy!"

Skiba: "Fuck it, I'm just here to pay for the new kitchen addition. Just have him mix it in a way that makes my vox indistinguishable from yours. This is getting embarrassing."

Barker: "I wish I died on that plane."

Some of his earlier work is pretty decent. He did produce Vices and Virtues, Page Avenue In Love and Death, and the Used's s/t.

But He is shit now though. everything in the last 8 years is awful.

like even skiba started to become very ehh with alk3 after crimson so joining a disjointed trainwreck like blink was probably not the best idea
