That People track is fire. And the 1975 are generally pretty stinky.

Remember when it was released i was like WTF after the live streaming airing of it was over. Did not see that coming. Even tho i think they played more emo type of music before they went with the 1975 moniker

“i still think Hall is just too tepid. it's wayyyy better live but idk, for a chaotic album such as this it kinda irks me that their last big song feels so restrained by comparison. still good doe. I like Cry Baby more and I think those are my most controversial placings?”
I understand being a little disappointed that the last two tracks are probably the most low key cuts on the record but Hall of Frozen Heads is legitimately Conor’s finest moment lyrically.
“I’ve been harboring resentment, meant for lack of eventfulness in divine sense
I wanna be Saul to Paul in Damascus, awakened above the masses. The last gasp of God before the rapture, charioted high above the glass earth.”
Just fucking flawless. Literally had me fucking weeping Friday night

Cool thing about these guys is that if you don’t like one record, try another. They’re all drastically different
Unless you just don’t like the vocals, then ya you’ll hate the band

Somebody said in Chicago the stage banter really made this sound like it wasn’t at all final. They said they’d be back if they have something to say but I think they’re coming back even if they don’t have new material.
I hope they realize how fucking boring life is and start back up again. Eric especially seems like a busybody, Conor of course has Smidley, I’m very excited to see what Eric cooks up. Hopefully a shit ton of Secret History’s and Hell 99’s. I’d love a screamo project from that mf.
Jon too, I don’t really know exactly what he contributes to the songwriting process but the man is a hell of a drummer. Brett has laid down some mean basslines too, Barking legitimately is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard as far as bassists go. I remember hearing the demo and the song is so much worse without THAT bass riff. It literally makes the fucking song
And I’m at the point where I wish I just went into crippling debt to see them in Chicago too. Pool Kids is by far my favorite of all the openers… and we didn’t get Looks Like Nothing in STL : /
And Sowing, when they come back you gotta get your ass to a show man. It’s unreal how depressed I am that it’s over because those were two of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Certainly the best Foxing shows I’ve been to

I’m pretty bummed they didn’t play it tbh
But honestly I would’ve loved if they just played this whole fucking thing. I mean I guess they did just not Cry Baby, Cleaning, and Barking. And KY McD’s and Looks Like Nothing… would’ve loved to have seen If I Believed in Love too

One of the tiny things I've loved about seeing these guys live recently is the rhythm guitarist gently rocking back and forth while everyone else on stage loses their shit. That guy is unflappable.
