flash you've gotta get to dehumanizer, it's like heaven and hell meets master of reality. it's so underappreciated.

hot take: It’s better than this and Mob Rules. it’s prob my third favorite Sabbath overall tbh

I thought that, despite liking them very much, the Dio era records were very corny but goddamn I love how fucking mean Dehumanizer sounds. I is legit probably a top 5 sabbath song for me.

Well ,i understand the OP point of view about Ozzy, who was more as a caracther then a real singer, but i gotta agree 100% with the OP in one thing: This is the best album Black Sabbath ever did.

The groove on Lonely is the Word is so badass. T/t and Die Young are among the band's best songs. Great album
Side note, the default review opening with a sentence that includes "I hate Ozzy Osbourne" is embarrassing lol

on first listen this was an enjoyable Romp into more DIO. His voice is excellent. not as good as his first Dio album but everything came together nicely on this album.

is there any foundational metal band singer that has a voice comparable to Dio's?
as far as i have heard, no.
he poops on the vocalists from Iron maiden, judas priest, metallica, anthrax, slayer, black sabbath, etc. IMO of course
