Nah, this clears Hardwired. That one’s just watered-down slog, even James sounds annoying there. Here every song is boring in its own right, but they're catchy and energetic enough.



Death Magnetic was their last truly great album anyway.

I'm shocked that an album with that artwork is bad.

Hardwired is mostly boring but it has atlas rise, moth into flame, and spit out the bone which are all better than anything here
