I feel it's necessary to add that seeyouspacecowboy fucking KILLED their set and played 14 songs. I would've liked if they could've cut it a few songs to give some more time to Static Dress but I have a feeling SD will be playing 45 minute sets by the next time they come around the states.

No fleahouse, no cubicle, no suchashame. And of all the songs they added they played Unexplainable which is the one track keeping me from 5'ing this. I'll admit it sounded great live but it's maybe their weakest song as a whole. We did get Lye solution as the opener though.

Unexplainable is cool but yea I can agree it's probably their weakest song. Lye as the opener sounds kickass, they opened with sweet when I saw em and god it was glorious.
Though for some reason they played in the dark and Oli's mic wasn't picking up as well as I'd hoped, couldn't really make out a lot of his vox. Regardless it was still insane to see them right in front of my eyes and to talk to Sam and Oli after the show :]

I guess now that I really listen to it I can definitely hear two guitars, but I feel like they can just cut the more staccato riff and keep the faster strummed part and it would sound just fine.
I feel like I’m going crazy, does anyone else hear the first verse riff during the instrumental before the last chorus? I thought I heard it in my car but with earbuds in I can’t hear it at all.

Nah I can definitely hear that too, I've listened to this so many times at this point I've picked up on all the nuances haha. Sounds like the first verse riff but more "floaty" idk how else to describe it. There are a lot of interesting production choices on here

I mean obv I don’t know the reason but if it’s because they don’t have a second guitarist that’s kind of lame. It definitely makes the recorded song sound better but I doubt there’s a single person in the pit that’s noticing that some background guitars are missing

Yeah it kind of sucks since that's my favorite part of the song and I've been blue balled twice by them now. They'd be fine with one guitar and you can't really tell there's one missing during the rest of the song when they're playing live.
