the poopularity of broken cog really surprised me. i like it, but thought it was a weaker cut here (also clockworks, i am colossus, and combustion are all superior openers)

I agree milo cog is a good track. Prob even top 5 on here but it's not some top tier meshuggah track like ppl here are making it seem lol. I wouldn't even put it on my top 30 list tbh

Some mf on here said the other day its a S tier track. So its up their with rational gaze, nmcc, bleed, clockworks, future breed machine etc etc ? I don't see it. Theres not a s tier track here. It's a consistently good album front to back nothing more nothing less.

ngl I like Broken Cog way more than Clockworks. Jens' spoken vocals give it that CC33 vibe and that's their best album so I'm always on board with any song that has that album's influence in it.

This one's more addictive than TVSOR for me. A good sign. Still on daily rotation.

clockworks is one of their best and it’s undeniable when you stack songs against each other
that said broken cog grew on me super quick. it’s got the ob-33-nothing-zen all-in-one energy. that said it hits more like an ‘opener’ than any of their other albums with opening hardhitters.

The more I listen to this, the more I think it's the closest the Swedes have ever been to the metal side of industrial.
No groove at all, just the machine's nothingface humming.
