I suppose the record came at an integral time for me. Listened to it at first, and liked it a lot, but then March 2020 happened and everything sort of stopped. This record sort of stuck as a result. I'd be lying if I didn't say this record (and Sunbather) launched me into a newer horizon of music at the time.

Buttkuisser posted this a few pages ago and this seems like the only somewhat credible explanation as to wtf they're doing over there

Nah it’s not though Johnny, they have very good gaze sections and very good heavy sections - the argument you made well was how they ham fistedly joined them together which I can understand people not liking.
The fair complaints with Loathe is their songwriting ability and how they bring together these two sounds, not the sounds themselves so to add in an even more jarring thing like a grime verse would be very poor.
