i don't think it does much, if at all. durability, i guess sure, less likely for the record to warp if it's 180g



i have original/early pressings of killers, adolescents, fear the record, peace sells, power and the glory, they're all thin and flimsy but sound fantastic, plenty of my reissues are recent and in 180g and sound off

Interesting call on Thin Line Between Love and Hate. I rarely gave that track much time, but just relistened and it's really damn good... Obviously... Because it's Maiden...
