I'm generally in agreement with people saying this isn't a super great album. It has some excellent songs but overall it's very forgettable

Yeah 3 or weak 3.5 sounds about right. xxx is the only album of his I can say has held up throughout the years. Old has some great stuff on it but is also sort of forgettable on the whole and I'm not a huge fan of the latter half

Old first half is the best thing he's done tbh... I wish this was an EP with like 3 songs or something.
Ain't It Funny is still super amazing and the two last tracks are still some of the worst songs I heard this year

Yeah uh if we were actually going to argue "correct" versus "incorrect" views on music I think 1.5'ing one of the most acclaimed hip hop albums of the past decade would hypothetically lean a bit toward the "incorrect" end of the spectrum
