I remember when I started SNW. Jesus I listened to that album for 3 weeks non-stop. Nothing else interested me it was just so hypnotizingly beautiful that album.

And I had that special time of the day, like very early in the morning when I would listen to it and it was amazing. Best experience with music I ever had. Early in the morning and being outside is my favourite time and place to listen to any music. It feels so fresh, not to mention the streets are quiet and it's also empty and you just feel very unique in a way.

Well WP is quite different than their other albums so I think you might like some of them more. For me Diamond Eyes and SNW go the hardest. They still had to grow a bit though.

I actually like the Change acoustic version a lot more I don't know why. It's on their B-Sides and Rarities album which also consists of some awesome covers, so you can check that out if you want as well.
Are you planning to listen to around the fur next ?

Yea it is, it's a lot more nu-metally than the rest of the stuff ( not that I consider anything after WP nu-metal) but it has pretty decent lyrics and it's like one of the few good nu-metal albums. It's good though but it's quite different to WP. So is every other album of theirs tbh.

Well it's like nu-metal but without most of the teenage angst and instead more diverse songwriting. I don't like nu-metal that much myself but this is an exception.

What's going for it is that it's very groovy and sexy, especially the closing track.

What else should I check out from these guys?

SNW for a challenging listen. For something more straightforward I'd suggest Diamond Eyes.

Are they still nu-metal(y)?

Around the Fur definitely
some people will tell you SNW, some will say Diamond Eyes, some might even say s/t
tbh you should prob just check em all save for the debut, that one can get skipped

@ALA I didn't know you were 16 bud. My dick cake is just a stupid, lame joke that I put continuity on Also, you told me that was your alt. account. I didn't track you down for it. Joining on every thread you're on is either coincidence or just the fact we share some music digs in common. That don't make me a pedophile dude. That was pretty fucked up.

That was a pretty fucked up joke dude. Several members of my family had a pedophile at one point in their life, and I don't take that as a "joke" very lightly. god damn it man
