I can see how that might work for some people. My problem is that I very rarely anticipate new music anymore as I'm mostly discovering older stuff that I've missed. The majority of my favourite artists either aren't active, or have long since stopped making material I actually enjoy.



There are exceptions of course but they don't seem to come around very often, it can be many months before something releases that's an instant must hear.

I caved and listened to the new single and I thought it was decent. Nothing amazing but I enjoyed it for what it was. Definitely a slow burner song
