I get it. The National is def among my top 10 fav bands as well - but that doesn't mean some of my favs are artists like Kvelertak, Deftones, Iron Maiden, etc. (when looking at metal)

(Although I think that "boxer" is (objectivley) as good as anything anyone has ever done aside from

maybe floyd)

The National keep releasing quality albums while doing pretty much the same thing each time without it getting at all stale.

Are there any people here for whom this album was a huge grower? The National is probably one of my favorite bands (probably the most favorite), but I still can't get into this album completely. The opener, the closer, Slipped, Heavenfaced, Sea of Love, Fireproof did nothing for me. Hard to Find is such a boring song, it's really hard to find such as boring song as Hard to Find. This Is the Last Time and Pink Rabbits rules though. I need My Girl is not bad as well.
