Z2 is his worst record. And AE isn't bad, but even Devin himself has admitted it isn't his most enthralling work:

"...even though there's a lot of power in that Strapping record based on the participation of the other guys and even though there's a lot of emotion in the Devin Townsend Band "Accelerated Evolution" record, both of 'em are kind of bland to me."

I know I'm in the minority on that one, but I love HaaRHT's raw power and anger, and Deconstruction is more detailed, unique, and engaging to me than Alien (though Alien does have some great tracks, it has a couple of meh ones too).

But honestly the worst Devin is still better than a lot of music and we both have this at 5 so let's be friends < 3
