for the record is a decent song ya

I have heard bits and pieces of this, New Junk, and all of Gutter Phenomenon.
From what I made out of his lyrics, tho, they were pretty interesting/funny, but the music didn't really catch my attention much.

Fair enough. You don't really jam metalcore of any form, do you?

Ec. I really have absolutely no idea what you jam Pots and I think this and the Norma thread might be our first ever conversation
|

Not a whole lot. When it comes to metalcore, I tend to just try to find the best album by a band of the genre that I am interested and stick with that. A lot of the time, it seems like metalcore bands just seem to rehash the same sound over and over again and don't really go anywhere. Or they just make one good album and all the rest kind of and/or really suck (All That Remains and Trivium would be examples for me).

I'm not talking about that poo metalcore that rips off At the Gates. I'm talking metalcore that is mathcore like Botch

I should have noticed you jammed electronic after looking at your list about your music group and it consisting of nothing but electronic type stuff
|
| |
its mostly electronic and hip hop yeah but we have some rock/metal bands and some funk type bands and some metal blah blah blah

I thought about hitting you up about my own music project but I figured having some schizophrenic hardcore jams wouldn't fit in with the clean and electronic sound that predominated

"I'm talking metalcore that is mathcore like Botch"
Haven't quite got up to stuff like Botch, Converge, etc. I have tried Dillinger, but wasn't quite feeling it at the time, so I put them on the back burner. I still like melody with my heavy, so I haven't quite gotten into the more intense side of metalcore, yet.

Dillinger can be very off putting and I'd never really recommend them to someone unless I knew they could handle it. You should check out Norma's new record then. It's got loads of melody and isn't as pummeling as the usual

I like the reference/art of ohms from valley of the wind

I liked the Dillinger record that I heard (Option Paralysis), but it just didn't seem like something I would want to listen to on a regular basis.
I think you told me that before, and I put it on a to-listen list. One of these days.

@Potsy: The Warren half of the name comes from the novel/film Watership Down if you've heard of it. Film is my second passion after music so my tunes are loaded with references to bands and films I love
@Ec: Most of their shit is really solid but I understand where you're coming from. They have been sort of growing off of me lately and I don't think I like the new record very much. Hurry up with that to-listen listen
