Covenant is amazing indeed but I dig this and Altars a bit more. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I guess my current ranking would go as such:
1. Covenant
2. Altars
3. Formulas
4. Blessed
5. Gateways
6. Heretic
7. Domination
8. Illud
9. Kingdoms
But the first seven albums all range from 3.5 to a 5, so they're all at least great (and the top 4 are fucking masterpieces)

I guess my spiciest MA take is that Illud isn't in my bottom spot. But man, I think Kingdoms Disdained is just awful. Like yeah, Illud is bad, but at least it's funny (HARDCORE RADIKULT!!!) with how bad it is. Kingdoms is just ceaselessly boring and uneventful throughout its entire runtime, and the terrible production doesn't help
And frankly, I'd rather be entertained (if ironically) by a bad album than bored to tears by one
