I wouldn't say the groups are very similar, at least anymore. The way both bands approach clean vocals are way different, and the musicianship just feels different.

Protest also know how cheesy they are, which is part of the reason why I like them so much

Yeah there are people who do, a few months ago a few people lumped on some guy calling people out for
no one mentioning Btbam in a "BOAT" thread, telling him they're nothing but a load of wankers. (This
was in another forum btw)

But anyway I don't hate btbam anymore, I'm jsut sayin' what I hear.

I was only really saying that some of the riffs are similar, I think that was what I liked about them at first since it was familiar to btbam. I hope there'll be some screaming on the new album.
