I need to hear more albums by these guys, Fas Ite is so intense. I haven’t read up on their beliefs/ideology or the stories they create with their work but it sounds quite complex & nuanced, which in itself is impressive. They clearly put a lot of effort into their music which has to be respected.

Yeah, Kénôse EP has a 40 page booklet. Lots of effort to create the art. Well, most of their albums (Paracletus has this as well) have intensely detailed artwork with a lot of stuff included. Usually books with lyrics in French, English and occasionally other languages, too. Also images of symbolism and also genocide and death (Si, monumentum...) Someone in this band is extremely well read. Pulling from multiple literary sources to create the lyrics and ideas.

Abscission is a great song title. Not sure how many times I'd ever use the word 'abscission' out of this context, but it's in my arsenal now.

Same with dearth... I feel like people will be like wtf is dearth
