The bass jamming in One of These Days rules so much

Roger Waters as a bassist > Roger Waters as a vocalist

Honestly if Gilmour sang more of their stuff on Animals and The Wall, Animals would be even more timeless, and The Wall would have some 5 potential

Yeah, I dunno what it is with Waters' voice, he just rubs me the wrong way, he sounds off, while I love Gilmour's vox

Tbh I dunno if I'd be able to like any of their more classic stuff as much as I do if Waters was the lead vocalist in those

Rick Wright is a pretty amazing singer as well, his stuff on Saucerful rules and even 'Summer 68 is pretty good

Waters is pretty good on Animals and the Final Cut and he's ok on Shine On but outside of the Final Cut and maybe Sheep, which I can't imagine him NOT singing, the other two could have done all his songs far better

Wright is a fucking incredible vocalist and at his best he was easily just as good as Gilmour

Yeah but compared to Gilmour and Wright, it's ridiculous that he would even want to sing on their songs

A lot of people seem to think he was a baggage to the band, and based on the stuff they said, in a way its true, but the band wouldn't even have been made without him and it ain't his fault that he went ape shit nuts

didn't he go nuts as a result of the drugs? if so then it is his fault

He was detrimental to their progress yes but he was also the reason they started in the first place

And you're right, it's not his fault at all

No Meat, I've been told that he was inherently schizophrenic and the drugs only triggered it so that's not his fault
