this album made the strongest first impression ever on me, was my first neurosis album and it completely altered my brain chemistry

pretty sure Through Silver in Blood was first for me way long ago probably wasn't the best starting place I don't know, especially given that would have been pretty early on in my exploration of and getting into heavier/more extreme/metal musics (also probably wasn't accustomed to tackling tracks of those magnitudes in regards to the length at that point either)... still not sure I feel too strongly about that one but I guess it's probably grown on me at least a little over the years

@Flug: this was my first too. Lost was the first Neurosis song I ever heard back in 2017, and I was absolutely hooked from there
Souls at Zero is still my personal favorite of theirs, but this one is in my top 3 as well

I’m gonna have to give this one a few tries. Cleanse is a little exhausting. When I got to the last ten minutes and noticed they are just the same noise panning in a loop, I just skipped it lol

This one took me a bit but it's so fucking genuinely scary.
A lot of metal feels cartoonishly horror, but this one feels like it's something I shouldn't be hearing. And it's fantastic.
