God dammit. I honestly thought people would see that one as the weakest :/

Also does everyone realise we're in a thread that started in 2004!? I mean how's that for a Sput classic?
No problem Colton. Just make sure it grows on you. Immensely.

I just heard Mysterons last night and damn those drums. I should probably recheck this

"The beat for It Could Be Sweet sounds like music the post office plays"
got your cause and effect mixed up there. most emotional vocal performance on the album after Roads = will post you a letterbomb
the only thing i have to say against Wandering Star is that Biscuit mostly beats it at its own game, but that's okay because Biscuit is the coolest track in the universe and the elit best pick

That’s why I try to only review stuff that doesn’t have a review yet Trif, you can create a thread that facilitates discussion decades later. Pretty cool

Great stance Colton, especially considering there are so many poor orphan albums out there that very much deserve reviews.
"Biscuit is the coolest track in the universe and the elit best pick" again Johnny, so right.

nah, Roads is a level-B basic bitch best pick (level-A being Glory Box), but probs the 2nd best song so all good
"Biscuit is soooo much more interesting"
i mean it does literally all the same stuff apart from the vocal performance is more outgoing and the main loop is a guitar instead of an organ drone, so

I could see every track here easily qualifying for best track, except for It's A Fire (sorry Pangea, it's still incredible of course).
Strangers has to be mentioned here as well!!!!

“i mean it does literally all the same stuff apart from the vocal performance is more outgoing and the main loop is a guitar instead of an organ drone, so“
So it addresses the two things that make Wandering Star suck lol. Plus the guitar part is a lot more melodic and organic than the boring organ drone. Right off the bat the chord progression is more interesting, has those distorted horns going on, those fluttery piano samples spliced in. It has a similar tempo and groove but it sounds pretty different to me

'nah, Roads is a level-B basic bitch best pick (level-A being Glory Box), but probs the 2nd best song so all good'
Glory Box is probably not even top 5 for me. Roads would make it though, just to show that I'm not a complete edge-lord. Ranking this does seem somewhat futile mind, I tried to rank 'Third' the other day and that was taxing enough.
